I love to work in the garden. Our terrace is situated beside the path to the beach. It is nicely orientated South-West, so you can sunbath till the late hours. On a regular base people pass by. So there’s always something to look at. Also you can sit away from the wind, which is also very comfortable, although when it’s very warm, a parasol is very much recommended.
Behind the house, there’s also a ‘forest’. In this little forest I planted Tomatoplants last wek. Not really suitable plants for the beach, but I thought this would be very cosy. Staying at your holidayhome and there you find fresh tomatoes. How does that sound? I hope it works out and that beautiful tomatoes will grow.
But thinking about the terrace, I think, a terrace at the back will be nice aswell… Here you can have your breakfast in the sun and optionally, when it’s too hot, sit in the shadow. But, perhaps I am too much optimistic that this can be realized before the summer. Since Haags Duinhuis is occupied from this friday on till 19 August. But I give it a try. To be continued.
